As of Tuesday May 19, 2020 the Bibliothèque Saint-Joachim Library will be open to the public, by appointment only.
Please call (204-424-9533) or email (firstname.lastname@example.org) to request books and to select a time for a pickup.
When calling or emailing, please provide the following information:
- First and last name
- Library card membership number (found on the back of the card)
- Phone or cell phone number
- Title(s) of book(s) requested
The library staff will prepare your requests and have them ready and placed in the library entrance at the appointed time. You can view the library’s catalogue.
If you would like assistance in choosing your books, we would be happy to assist you. If you prefer surprises, provide us with an age group, a language of choice and a quantity of books you would like and we could prepare that for you as well.
Library material may be returned in the Book Return box during our library hours (3:30 – 6:30pm).
Please do not “wash” or “wipe” library material as this may cause damage.
Once returned, all items are kept in quarantine for 1 week until returning to circulation.
Please note that patrons will not be permitted inside the library. All transactions will take place at the front entrance of the building. Interlibrary loans and the use of library computers will be unavailable until further notice.
For ebooks or audiobooks, we encourage you to use eLibraries or Libby for a large selection of books that you can borrow directly onto your device. We also have additional resources on our website.
